Job description
The School of Dentistry is looking to recruit a proactive, motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a varied role with the opportunity to learn and develop new skills in a busy School Office. The post is based in the School¿s Student Experience Team and the role holder will be a first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the School, which includes the monitoring of the departmental email accounts, providing advice on routine School and University policies and procedure.
As well as the Student Experience Team Lead, you will assist the Dean, Vice-Deans and Programme Directors. You will typically be working to short deadlines and will arrange tasks within a daily routine to provide a courteous and effective service to others. Applicants should be able to multi-task with good IT, communication and interpersonal skills with a desire to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and visitors to the School Office. This role requires an individual with a strong customer care focus and experience of working in a busy office environment with the ability to maintain a calm and professional approach.
