About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in casework to apply their skills within the context of higher education investigations. You will be responsible for the management of cases from across the University to ensure that policies and procedures relating to student discipline and conduct are implemented effectively.

You will assist in the development of policies, in addition to contributing to the design and delivery of guidance and training for staff and students. This is a key role in building relationships across the University and the Student’s Union, working proactively to ensure the right outcome to any case.

The successful will be able to agree hybrid working pattern in line with the demands of the service.

About you

We are looking for someone who is able to work proactively, show initiative and apply sound professional judgements within the context of relevant regulations, policies and procedures. You will have the ability to handle conflict and difficult/sensitive situations in a calm and professional manner, demonstrating high levels of personal resilience. You must demonstrate strong report writing skills. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing multiple highly complex and sensitive investigations.
