College Student Support Worker (Elephant & Castle)

At LARA Search, we're seeking an experienced Support Worker to join a vibrant learning community near Elephant & Castle that caters to students between the ages of 16 and 25 years old with additional needs. As a Support Worker for college students, you'll be working with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive support to young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs, Autism, and other Moderate Learning Difficulties. The college's environment is safe and supportive, providing a platform for young people to thrive and achieve their goals.
About the role:
- Support Worker to support students with complex needs between the ages of 16 and 25 years old.
- Create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning experience.
- Develop positive interactions to build confidence and self-esteem.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritized.

Requirements:
- Available to work 08:45 - 16:30, Monday to Thursday.
- Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
- Able to carry out personal care as part of the role.
- Available immediately to work as a Youth Support Worker.
- Happy to apply for or already have an enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the update service.
