A recently opened primary special needs school in Guildford are seeking three Psychology Graduates to join them as an SEN Teaching Assistant to support their pupils.

>Previous experience working with SEN is desirable
As a Psychology Graduate, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the overall experience of SEN pupils. This Psychology Graduate position will see your time divided between in-class support, 1:1 tutoring and leading booster and intervention groups. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will accommodate for a variety of needs and provide support to a specific area designated by a subject leader.
The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant post will have a natural ability to encourage and promote strong, clear communication skills that will allow them to easily convey information to the SEN pupils under their care. For this position, previous experience working with children (SEN in particular) would be an asset.
The hired Psychology Graduate will have the opportunity to liaise with the school's team of specialist practitioners, as well as receiving an abundance of support from the school’s leadership team.
