Student Assistants for both our Venues - Portland Coffee Co & Mooch
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for students at the University of Nottingham to join our student staff team within both our Venues (Mooch/Portland Coffee Co) as a Student Assistant.
To be eligible to apply you must be a student at the University of Nottingham for the academic year REPLACEMENT_STRING2024
Are you reliable, hard-working, and motivated? Do you have the ability to deliver excellent customer service? Are you able to use your own initiative and problem solve? Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work as part of a team? Then we want YOU to be part of our team.
This role is heavily customer service orientated. You will be expected to work to high standards and always observe departmental procedures.
No previous experience is needed as you will receive full training on the job

We will be holding open Interview Days and spaces will be limited. Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Once all time slots have been filled the application window will close.
Time Slots will be available between 9:30 and 16:00 on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th March 2023.

Those successful for a place on the interview days will receive an email giving details of the interview time and location week commencing the 6th March 2023 .
Successful candidates will need to provide right to work documents before a contract will be offered. The dates for providing these documents in person will be Wed 29th and Thu 30th March 2023. Please be aware that we cannot offer a contract unless the correct documents have been provided. Details of the documents required will be sent out with successful emails.

Interview date: Wednesday 15th March and Thursday 16th March 2023
Training dates: You must be available for the in-house training week commencing Monday 1st May 2023.
Closing Date: Midnight Friday 3rd March 2023 (or until all interview timeslots are full)
Hourly Rate: £10.90 per hour plus holiday pay calculated at 12.07%
