About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for Student Advisors to join the Library and Learning Services team.
Student Advisors provide peer to peer help, support, and guidance to undergraduate (UG) and taught postgraduate (PGT) students including signposting to learning resources within the University Library’s print and digital collections and providing skills support as part of the UniSkills programme. Support takes place in person and online, and in one to one or group settings. A professional approach and consistent commitment are required from the post-holder throughout the year.

To apply you must be a current Edge Hill University student in either 2nd year, 3rd year or a Postgraduate programme of study and be continuing your studies at Edge Hill for the full academic year 2023/24.
About You
As a Student Advisor, you will have:
- Experience of working in a student support role with excellent customer care skills.
- The ability to present information to other students, accurately and confidentiality, in a one to one and group setting.
- Excellent IT skills and experience using social media and other associated applications including writing/engaging in blogs, vlogs and podcasts.
- An enthusiastic can-do attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
