Student Administration Manager

Open-ended and part-time (FTE0.74/27.5 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities for an enthusiastic, well-organised manager to lead an established team within the subject areas of Communication and Media and Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy, providing an outstanding taught student and programme administration service.

You should have high standards, have experience of supervising staff and dealing with a broad range of people in a variety of situations using tact, discretion and negotiating skills. You must be able to work to a high level of accuracy, paying attention to detail.

  • Generous pension scheme
  • Personal and professional development
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • BUPA Cash Plan (100 Scheme)
  • Incremental pay structure
  • A range of childcare support initiatives and benefits including childcare vouchers; on-site university nursery (with salary sacrifice scheme); and holiday play schemes.
  • Season ticket loan scheme
  • Volunteering policy
  • Health and Wellbeing support
  • Fantastic range of sports facilities and preferential membership packages available
  • On campus parking with charging points for electric vehicles
