Student Administration Manager
Open-ended and part-time (FTE0.74/27.5 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities for an enthusiastic, well-organised manager to lead an established team within the subject areas of Communication and Media and Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy, providing an outstanding taught student and programme administration service.
You should have high standards, have experience of supervising staff and dealing with a broad range of people in a variety of situations using tact, discretion and negotiating skills. You must be able to work to a high level of accuracy, paying attention to detail.
This is a demanding role where you will be responsible for all programme administration in both subject divisions, providing advice and guidance to students on the programmes. The role will suit a highly motivated and proactive individual with excellent IT skills and experience of effectively operating electronic databases and corporate systems. The post may also suit an existing University administrator, who is looking for a development opportunity within Higher Education.
