We’re looking for an Director to:
- lead the structuring and execution of bespoke derivatives and structured lending transactions for IB and GWM clients
- entertain clients conversation in order to understand their objectives, risk tolerance and expectations
- structure bespoke lending solutions in order to meet client's need
- prepare the relevant credit memo reflecting the transaction request
- work together with all relevant stakeholders in particularly with the portfolio underwriter in order to obtain approval of the requested transaction

Your team
You’ll be working in the Global Lending Unit in London. Our EMEA team is responsible for delivering bespoke financing solutions to our clients across Wealth Management and the Investment Bank. It also encompasses corporate equity derivatives and special situations.
You'll play an important role in pitching and execution of transactions as well as covering clients. The Global Lending Unit is division agnostic, covering clients across Wealth Management and the Investment Bank. You'll therefore get exposure to a broad range of situations and transactions, for example, structured lending or strategic equity solutions (strategic stakebuilds, share buybacks, disposals, hedging, equity-backed financing).
We are a team with an entrepreneurial and proactive approach and flat organizational structure, working closely with a large variety of clients in different jurisdictions, IB traders, Client advisors, control functions and in a dynamic environment where collaboration is key to deliver bespoke solutions to our clients.

Your expertise
- good understanding and hands-on exposure to equity derivatives
- ideally you have >3 years’ experience working within investment banking
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent [minimum 2:1 achieved or equivalent]
- solid modelling and financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly
- methodical, concise and accurate work style, with a strong attention to detail
- strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to convey complex transactions to clients and internal colleagues
- collaborative team member with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- fluent in English, Italian would be desirable
