Are You Up To The Challenge?
The Product Owner will be the main owner of GLEN, this is our internal game discovery platform and our secret sauce to find great games that players will love. You will need to create product strategies and roadmaps that define updates to the existing system and help inform the decision-making processes throughout the organisation. The Product Owner will need to stay on top of trends in the gaming industry and understand how they can be effectively imbued in GLEN’s design and operation. You will also be expected to build an understanding of the competitive landscape, to inform decisions.
Your Team Mates
You will be part of a cross-functional team working on GLEN, including Data Science, Tools and Tech, Server, Marketing, and Publishing specialists.
What Does The Job Actually Involve?
Working with development teams to establish product vision and objectives
Managing the product roadmap and timeline to ensure the product meets strategic objectives
Develop and maintain a full understanding of Kwalee’s Game Discovery System (GLEN)
Maintaining an awareness of market trends and technology changes, while seeking opportunities to improve or extend the product
Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing department to ensure GLEN is meeting the needs of the company
Take ownership of GLEN’s performance and ensure its continual evolution with changes in the market and customer tastes.
Your Hard Skills
Proven track record of successfully developing, launching and managing digital products
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both with internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly
Well-versed in agile and SCRUM product owner methodologies and tools
Previous experience in gaming industry or a relevant technology sector is an advantage
