The successful candidate must have competency and experience of producing engineering drawings, be prepared to work from home, utilising web conferencing solutions, and making occasional site visits.
Job Description:
- The CAD Technician produces high quality technical drawings using a combination of plans, elevations and sections for customer approval.
- Working closely with our Senior Civil Engineer to ensure that our designs are delivered on time, on budget and to exacting technical requirements.
- Assisting our Senior Civil Engineer in maintaining a record of the progress of each design project to include communications, notices and applications.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good knowledge of Civil/Structural engineering principles.
- A minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience of CAD / AutoCAD (or equivalent)
- A self-motivated and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication skills
