Job description
- The Reading and understanding of job specifications and worksheets.
- Able to take instructions and communicate with Team leaders/managers in the area.
- Report any Safety or Quality issues to Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.
- Removal of waste material after cutting
- Strapping pallets
- Use of bailing machine
- Preparation of pallets in readiness for dispatch
- Other ad hoc tasks as necessary, so flexible “can do” attitude required preferred but not essential if you have the right attitude and happy to learn.
- Preferred Experience, but no essential as full training will be given, of working with and operating bailing machine within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of good health and safety practices
- Proven experience of working towards KPI’s and deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills; both written and verbally
- Excellent attention to detail
