Are you: Passionate about comedy and the arts?
Looking to earn some money? Looking to see some shows for free this Fringe? Currently/will be living in Edinburgh? Comfortable with approaching and talking to strangers?
Look no further! Gag Reflex are now hiring confident and friendly people to join our outstanding street team.
Gag Reflex are one of the biggest promoters at the Edinburgh Fringe! We produce comedy, cabaret, music and variety acts. We have 15 shows this Fringe ranging across 4 venues.
We pay £12 per hour (average days’ work is 6 hours.)
We offer bonuses for selling out shows.
We arrange social events throughout the festival season
Where possible we provide venue passes, allowing you to see lots of great shows for free!
Role
-Engaging with members of the public to promote and talk about our acts and their shows.
-Handing out flyers and being able to confidently recommend our shows.
-Increasing ticket sales
-Getting to know us, our acts and each other, and having fun at the Fringe!
You need to be:
Hard-working
Friendly and approachable
Flexible with working hours.
Have a good knowledge of comedy and the arts.
Have a decent pair of shoes to keep your feet happy whilst you’re on them every day for the Fringe.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 month
Salary: Up to £12.00 per hour
