Wells Fargo is searching for a visionary Marketing/Brand Strategy Leader (Marketing Director) for the Merchant Services organization.
Reporting to the Head of Growth & Customer Engagement for Merchant Services, this senior role leads the marketing team that defines branding and marketing strategy during a time of business transformation and drives impactful awareness-building in target customer segments.

In this role, you will:
- Refine and strengthen the Merchant Services customer value proposition as a standalone product and in conjunction with other business products
- Lead branding and white label strategy for the Merchant Services organization, in collaboration with the enterprise brand team
- Drive potential customer awareness and consideration, including via thought leadership and influencer marketing
- Develop lifecycle marketing communications strategy
- Own marketing budget and develop business cases for marketing spend; define and continually refine the team's approach to KPI's
Required Qualifications, US:
- 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experience
- Demonstrated success leading transformative brand initiatives, preferably with a business-to-business orientation
- Expertise with "above the line" marketing disciplines, including advertising and thought leadership across a variety of media
- Ability to own and document processes, identify risk factors, and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
- Strong analytical capabilities, including experience defining/measuring KPIs and developing related reporting/dashboards
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to "get into the weeds"
- Comfort and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate at all internal organizational levels to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with the payments and/or financial services industry
- MBA or other Master's degree
- Ability to travel up to 20%

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Annual
