Job Summary:
Basic Purpose and Objectives of the position
In close collaboration with both managers, Country head and local teams (marketing, PR, partnerships, sales, trade marketing, legal, Walt Disney Travel Company), will act as a strategic thinking partner for the UK and Irish markets and lead the marketing and sales strategy to deliver targeted attendance and revenue of the countries Annual Operating Plan
Principal Accountabilities
- Lead the Marketing & Sales Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for the UK and Irish markets; using market, competitive, consumer data/insights, past guests’ history and business data to identify key issues, challenges and opportunities and propose appropriate strategies and initiatives
- Lead any deep-dives or country specific strategic “growth” projects, including data analysis, briefing Consumer Insights team, pulling key learnings, recommendation and validation of strategies and brief to Central and Country marketing teams
- Following pan-European recommendation, will define the country specific annual offers and communication architecture as part of AOP, including timing, length, phasing and frequency of offers/campaigns
- Will be closely involved with DLP strategies for UK-based tour operator Walt Disney Travel Company
- Will also support the Central Consumer Strategy team on some adhoc pan-European strategic projects working in close collaboration with other Country Strategy Managers
- Management of one intern
Knowledge and Skills
- Education : Minimum BA level, Bac +5 in Business Schools or similar education.
- Minimum of 6 years professional experience in Marketing in either Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Luxury, Cosmetic or Travel industry.
- Fluent in English, French a plus. Ideally with an experience abroad (work or studies).
- Strong business writing and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.

- Close collaboration with Sr Manager and other members of Consumer Strategy team in Paris
- Close collaboration with VP, Country Head and Country local Marketing and Sales team, Consumer Insights, Revenue Management, Central Sales and other Markets.
- Exposure to Commercial Senior Vice-President and other DLP Commercial Vice-Presidents
Other Information
- Double reporting to both DDI Director of Strategy & Marketing EMEA (based in London) and DLP Sr Manager Country Strategy (based in Paris)
- Position will require regular travels to Paris
