About the Role: We are looking for a Marketing Communications Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and deploying effective, measurable, customer-centric marketing communications that drive marketing objectives and results.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.*
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Marketing Communications team members to develop a marketing communications plan, forecasting, and budgeting, including reconciling activities for tactical execution, analyzing performance, and providing recommendations for improvements
- Drive marketing communications strategy development, from positioning, to concepting and message development through creative execution
- Influence to ensure strategic alignment of cross-functional marketing strategies with while creating a consistent customer experience
- Partner with internal and external creative and agency teams to provide clear direction and feedback for strategy and execution to support the business objectives
- Provide consultation on paid, earned, and owned channel strategies, working with customers insights and analytics team to showcase the business impacts and contributions of those channels
- Develop channel communications plans that align with marketing trends and improve the customer experience across channels
- Implement solutions that align with Gore brand, creative and quality guidelines while meeting budget guidelines and minimizing time to market
- Gain knowledge of assigned products, competitors, and their position in the market
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 7 years Marketing Communications experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or life science industry, or equivalent agency experience
- Proven understanding of communications strategies and planning including forecasting, budgeting and measurement from campaign and launch initiation and execution through campaign optimization
- Track record of influencing and integrating with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical, creative, and tactical thinker with capacity to accurately align marketing communications knowledge and insights to improve business outcomes
- Understand and interpret current healthcare marketing trends and their impact on communications strategies
- Work in fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
- Strong workflow management skills including organizational, time/project management, planning and implementation, prioritization, and reporting
- Understand traditional and digital media channels and disciplines
- Ability to travel up to 10% and overnight
- Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
