Job description
This role is a key part of the Strategy & Transformation team, reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer to support driving forward key strategic initiatives across all our Costa markets. We are looking for someone who can effectively partner with internal stakeholders to build and deliver large strategic change initiatives through programme & project management. A bit about the role...
As well as playing a crucial role in the delivery of strategic change initiatives, this role will help establish the correct governance around each programme, identify the critical pathways and roadmaps, and support the delivery through identifying the correct project methodology to use. You will collaborate with senior managers to execute programmes, ensuring they analyse the programme portfolio to ensure workflows, identify key project dependencies and risks, generate key stakeholder reports, and conduct review meetings to ensure programmes are kept on track and tangible lessons are learnt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking strategic initiatives from conception through to full business sign-off including defined scope, benefits, timelines and benefits
- Engaging with stakeholders across to the business to enable buy-in
- Planning for all deliverables: having an overall plan built, including the critical path, and building in risks and issues as well as actions in place to mitigate these
- Managing all deliverables to the agreed plan, and ensuring that contingencies are manage through when the plan is impacted
- Ensuring that deliverables are achieved and tracked

- Degree level or equivalent Project Management qualification
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Good knowledge of org coms required for significant change programmes
- Excellent project planning and organisation
- Strategy development experience
- Excellent report writing (Word and PowerPoint) and presentation skills for an Exec Board audience, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical rigour and attention to detail
- Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills – ability to quickly establish credibility with senior management
- Ability to develop partnerships and positive working relationships at all levels across matrix organisations
