Role Accountabilities:
Strategic planning of the end to end AMP process, building in allowances for Reactive, Project, balancing to ensure deliverable plans.
Identifying opportunities to manipulate the plan to create optimum efficiencies and utilisation.
Breaking the annual work stack into efficient plannable work buckets to be delivered.
Champion knowledge sharing, collaborative working and continual improvement across the North West Planning teams.
Forecast resource availability and identify upcoming risks to the network and strategize accordingly
Planning for the delivery of the CAPEX plan and forecasting deliverables and Map against projected targets
Own the Site Familiarisation and Assurance Training Plans for the North West field force and ensure we are continually investing in our teams retaining skills and experience
Ensure the annual delivery of the North West PT&E Programme across North West Emergency, Repair and Energy Operations Process.
Accountable for the annual RRP reporting, creating and embedding a customer focused culture
Accounting for Network and Area level performance and recovery plans at various performance committees.
To drive consistency and best practice across the Planning model
Drive accurate data collation to drive initiatives to improve performance
Management of field force availability and non-availability to ensure that the network has accurate visibility of resources
Ownership of the North West Training Plan ensuring we have a skilled and competent workforce
Ensuring planning allows financial value to be maximised from operational activities (in line with specific network strategies) including resourcing, materials and other elements of work delivery.
Ensuring and promoting compliance with Cadent policies, standards and procedures with accountability for effective resolution of any non-compliances identified, including supporting any reviews and investigations as required.
Functional Accountabilities:
Understanding, communicating and championing the overall strategy for the network.
Effective risk management as required to fully execute the purpose of the role.
Design, drive and ensure delivery of key improvement initiatives.
Champion knowledge sharing, collaborative working and continual improvement across the North West Planning teams.
Analyse and interpret complex technical and data issues to form insights and recommendations.
Acting as a “critical friend” for Customer Operations teams to ensure effective plans are created that deliver across the whole network, in line with budget and performance constraints.
Understanding, communicating and championing the overall strategy for the network.
Effective risk management as required to fully execute the purpose of the role
