Job description
To lead on the delivery of a regional programme of work around health literacy. Across the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICS) health literacy has been identified as a programme of work with the potential to have a positive impact on reducing health inequalities. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of a regional health literacy work plan. The post holder will have a key role in supporting the ICS Health Literacy Lead in influencing and leading work across the system as part of the ICS commitment to tackle health inequalities.
The post holder will be responsible for embedding health literacy across the wider work of the ICS and partners. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate commitment to the values and vision of the ICS and employing organisation in relation to improving health, promoting inclusion and reducing health inequalities.
