Position: Strategic Business Administrator
Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (based on experience)

Labman Automation is a well-established, high growth company working in the field of laboratory and medical automation. Due to continued success the directors and leadership team requires strategic administrative support to succeed with our ambitious programme of continual improvement. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ambition to develop into a future business leader. The successful applicant will be intimately involved in all strategic aspects of the business and will be expected to conduct investigations and research to support strategic decision making. The role requires strong financial insight, accounting accreditations are not essential, although experience in business finance would be strongly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
STRATEGY
- Work with the SLT to bring the strategic vision of the business to life
- Help develop strategic plans and long-term forecasts
- Provide financial and strategic insight on key decisions facing the leadership team
- Provide detailed and thoughtful analyses of the financial and operational performance
- Undertake projections and simulations to support strategic decision making
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make them a reality
- Define, monitor and present key business performance indicators
FINANCIAL
- Previous exposure to business finance is strongly advantageous
- Research, plan and implement overseas accounts/offices
- Excellent numeracy
- Excellent Excel skills

Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in an engineering, science or finance discipline
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
EXPERIENCE
- Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of pricing, costing and operational finance
- Experience in developing relationships with demanding stakeholders
- Understanding of legal and contractual negotiations

- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build robust working relationships across the Company as a whole and with all stakeholders both internally and externally
