We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created post working with Professor James Miller, Principal and Vice-Chancellor who joined the University of the West of Scotland in 2022.
You will be a strategic advisor and senior support to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, bringing your knowledge and expertise from the higher education sector and external environment to guide and advise on policy and practice developments, and a frontline support ensuring he is briefed and prepared for key engagements.
You will be responsible for briefings and speech writing and ensuring a strong focus on action; and will demonstrate high-level skills in drafting briefings, synthesising complex information at pace and identifying opportunities for the University of the West of Scotland to progress.
You will have extensive experience of the HE Sector and have a demonstratable track record in leadership, working effectively with senior colleagues and be a credible and compelling communicator in oral and written communications.
