We are now recruiting experienced Strategic "High Touch" Account Managers for our busiest European markets.
This role will follow a remote hybrid working pattern, giving you flexibility on how you approach your objectives for the year We operate in a fast-moving industry and are a dynamic, growing publicly listed business.
Working as part of a team, you will be identifying cross-sell opportunities in existing clients and target prospects from a defined list of accounts, to work with them through the full sales life cycle. You will also take on the responsibility of account management post-sale activity to discover additional, and ongoing, revenue streams.
Through capitalising on our excellent reputation, the use of targeted sales campaigns and strategies and attending the most relevant exhibitions globally, you will generate a good percentage of your business through proactive sales activity within our existing client base, but you will also build on this to bring in further new clients.
Role responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a track record of achieving high sales targets and goals as specified on an annual basis
- Hunter, inquisitive mindset - focused on new revenue bookings only
- Work strategically within Altus Group to coordinate the sales effort and target new logos and new departments in existing accounts
- Planning, executing and managing sales strategies for accounts within your specified named accounts/geographies to meet sales performance targets
- Structured qualification of opportunities to manage the sales cycle and execute contracts efficiently
- Create, negotiate, and close commercial agreements - experienced in dealing with complex procurement processes and legal teams
- Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of prospects & clients management teams including high-level executives
- Look for opportunities to diversify and expand into new markets
- Respond to RFPs, prepare formal proposals, quotes, and contracts in cooperation with finance and legal groups
- Collaborate with Product Managers to deliver improvements in products by feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research
- Provide standard sales metrics including forecasting, pipeline, funnel, engagement plans, and other reports as necessary in a timely manner
- Maintain CRM database: Perform accurate data entry of customer profile, customer updates & any account activity
- Collaborating effectively with other internal teams to contribute to the company’s overall sales success and give the highest possible level of service to our clients
- Collaborate with others in the Sales team to identify new business opportunities e.g. global opportunities require collaboration between different regions
Position Requirements:
- Several years of experience in strategic sales or in an international account manager position in a B2B business environment, preferably financial services.
- Historical success of meeting or exceeding quotas and targets
- Extensive CRM experience - Salesforce
- Consultative selling
- A solid understanding of the Commercial Real Estate industry
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in managing $100k+ (year 1) deal values
- Experience managing face-to-face and virtual quarterly business reviews and regular meetings with clients to assess opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell
- Excellent communication skills - written, oral, reporting, diagrams and presentations
- Customer service orientation
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
