Selwood Pump Rental Solutions operate a network of 21 branches nationwide serving a wide range of customers across the UK. Our national Sales teams have been pivotal in securing key clients for the business and form an integral part of our Pump teams.
Our sales force are the face of Selwood, renowned for their technical expertise and honest advice providing solutions to our customers for planned and emergency works. Our sales team are in turn supported by our branches and installation team who are proud to deliver first class products.
About The Role
To manage, support and develop our National Accounts customers we are inviting applications for the position of Strategic Account Manager focusing on the South / South East of the UK.
This role will be responsible for managing Key National Accounts and major projects to ensure continuing effective relationship at a local and national level whilst promoting the best technical solutions to our accounts pumping requirements to maximise on potential revenue streams.
This role will involve travel to our customer sites which are across the UK so you can be based in various locations not specifically our Head Office.
Role Responsibilities:
- To acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the pump range and service Selwood can offer.
- To establish and development client relationships, gaining trust, and confidence in Selwood Pump Rental Solutions, our products and services.
- To ensure the offering of Technical solutions to our customers ensuring the solutions teams are integrated in large and technical applications to maintain safety, profitability and best practice.
- To ensure all pricing is suitable for proposed projects to supply and install are the most suitable and economical packages available.
- Management of quotes ensuring full follow up.
- To attend client review meetings as required.
- To produce Account Management reporting on a regular basis.
- To actively seek out business opportunities in line with planned objectives
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
- Proven history working within a sales account management capacity, ideally within the construction, water utilities or pumping industry.
- Self starter with ability to strictly self manage time and activities
- Full driving licence
- Passion to promote and lead and environmentally safe and accident free work place
Preferred:
- Extensive history of ten years business to business selling.
- Competent at delivering presentations to key external stakeholders
- Proven history in promoting new products

This role covers Monday to Friday 40 hours a week.
