Stores Person – Night Shifts
Position Type: Permanent
Monday to Friday 20:00 to 04:30
Department: Logistics
Location: EMA
Responsible to: Logistics Manager
Role Summary
Responsible for Assisting with the control of West Atlantic material and Logistics solution for UK including inventory control
Responsible for assisting with Customs Import/Export and material support to the aircraft maintenance operations in UK and Europe
Responsibilities
· Manage Goods in from receipt and inspection in line with EASA and FAA regulations
· Ensure the accurate selection of aircraft parts for use within the engineering group
· Ensure the timely dispatch of parts to the customers and operators
· Facilitate and effectively operate engineering counter enquiries and tool allocation
· Conduct stock counts as requested
· Other duties related to the efficient and effective management of Logistics
· Use a computerised maintenance inventory system to record all material transactions, ensuring availability of aircraft parts and materials for aircraft maintenance
- Ensure all activities are carried out safely and good housekeeping standards are met at all times.
- Deliver COMAT stock to the aircraft through the night
Academic/Educational Requirements
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience within a stores/warehouse environment
- Possess good communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Ability to work on own and within a team
- Ability to take the initiative
- Basic IT Skills
Salary
Circa £24,273 depending on experience
£2,500 – Shift Allowance
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £26,773.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
