Vacancy description

Our Porsche Centre in Cardiff is looking to appoint a bright, well-presented Receptionist to meet and greet our customers during their visit to our Porsche Centre. As well as being the face of our business and the first point of contact, your primary objective is to deliver a memorable customer experience during every visit.

Upon the customers arrival, you are responsible for quickly establishing their needs and requirements, whilst swiftly building genuine rapport along the way. Thinking on your feet is very important as you are ultimately responsible for that first class visit and the seamless transfer between departments we are looking for. As a member of the Reception team, you will also be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls, so ideally, we are looking for someone who can communicate professionally over the phone as well as in person.

Working as a Host in the car industry is an exciting fast-paced job where no two days the same. We welcome a variety of customers into our business, all with differing expectations and requests. One person might only be in the showroom for 10 minutes, while anothers may want to set up a space to work for the day.

Essential Skills:

The successful candidate will ideally have at least one year experience in a customer service role and have an outgoing personality. You should be smart in appearance and possesses the confidence to deal with our customers’ high expectations. If you are an effective communicator and forward-thinking individual, you will thrive in this busy environment.
