Job Description Stores Operative with Stork:


To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.

Responsible for assisting with the management and co-ordination of Base Facility stores.


Tasks and Responsibilities as Stores operative:


Goods in/ Goods Out/Equipment Returns

  • Assist with the emptying of returned containers of equipment and materials.
  • Assist with Aspire off hiring and third party returns.
  • Assist in ensuring that returned equipment has appropriate certification attached.
  • Assist in information retrieval from Returns email address.
  • Assist in ensuring that any returned Dangerous Goods / Chemicals are dealt with according to the procedure.
  • Assist in the generation of equipment checklists and GRN’s.
  • Assist with waste management activities.
  • Responsible for assisting in the management and accuracy of stock levels and the completion of routine audits on a quarterly basis.
  • Actively participate and contribute in the effective management of “surplus” materials.
  • Input into and maintenance of stock control systems.
  • Actively participate and contribute in the day-to-day interface between Group Operations, Purchasing and Base Facility.
  • Co-ordinating resource requirements to ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control
  • Assist in materials receipt and dispatch.

  • Assist with the compilation of check sheets, to facilitate stores manifesting.
  • Actively participate and contribute in the day-to-day interface between Group Operations, Purchasing and R Plant.

Education & Experience


Education


Essential

  • Higher education or experience commensurate with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.

Desirable

  • PUWER & LOLER
  • COSHH & Manual Handling
  • Task Risk Assessment
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Product Specific Training

Experience and Skills


Essential

  • Moderate level of experience within similar roles.
  • Moderate level of IT experience.
  • Ability to drive a Forklift.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Knowledge of range of services Stork does and can provide to the client.
