About this Stores Assistant role:
The role will involve working closely with the Material Controller to ensure that inventory is effectively managed and monitored to enable production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring stores is safe and secure, with no health or safety hazards
- Engage with Production to ensure stock items are available in alignment of project timescales
- Support activities with stores including checking and ordering stock levels to expected standards and timescales
- Deal with incoming stock deliveries, storing correctly in right conditions and documenting updates on system
- Deal with outgoing stock to ensure Production have the right parts, documenting updates on system
- Track orders to ensure successful receipt
- Packing product and dispatching as necessary
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders regarding progress and status of inventory
- Support wider business activities as necessary

- Able to work on a daily basis from site to fulfil role requirements
- Ability to follow processes
- Ability to complete documentation accurately
- Responsive to customer and project timescales
- Can work independently as well as ability to effectively collaborate within cross cultural teams

- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft software
Skills desired:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Previous experience with stock management and inventory control
