The Role
This role will require you to have a can-do attitude and to be able to work as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing stock deliveries efficiently
- Manage the receipt of all morning deliveries including invoices
- Store, label and rotate goods correctly
- Keeping the stock room organised, methodical and tidy
- Ensure all procedures are followed to minimise stock loss
- Thorough knowledge of stock levels
- Assisting with shop floor replenishment
- Assisting stores team with general duties required Customer Service
- Understanding and following Food safety & hygiene guidelines
- Follow up with the relevant supplier on any discrepancies between delivery and purchase order. Print the purchase orders
- Maintain a sanitary work area of fridges and freezers, comply with the departmental procedures for stock rotation and inventory control.
