UK accountancy practice experience is essential, and you can be either qualified or part-qualified, and if you are still studying, we can support that too.
This position offers a wide range of opportunities to effectively utilize your skills and knowledge while working directly with a diverse range of business and individual clients. You will be the lead accountant within the client-facing team, giving support to your colleagues whilst reporting directly to the practice owner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports and tax returns for clients
- Provide support on technical accounting areas for a team of 5 people
- Ensure the practice is fully compliant with latest accounting and tax updates and with practice management requirements
- Analyse data
- Take the lead on AML and Practice Assurance compliance
- Be involved in projects to improve systems and processes within the practice, often looking at new software options; and to roll out new services to clients

Part-time hours: 25-37.5 per week
Salary: £23,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
