Role Overview:
As a Store Manager you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding retail sales targets and be responsible for the development of fully trained, informative and highly motivated Travel Experts who deliver exceptional service and revenue. You will also be fully responsible for the store's business development in aim to increase and nurture the established customer database as well as looking after our VIP customers.

So what are we looking for:
Our Kuoni Store Managers are hands on and support our Personal Travel Experts every step of the way. We are looking for confident & competitive natural conversation starters that can bring their personality to work to motivate their teams to success!
Our store is located inside John Lewis, so confidence to build relationships with John Lewis management is vital, as well as hosting in store events to aid business development.
Essential:
- 2+ years of experience as a Store Manager or similar role
- A genuine passion for travel especially long-haul destinations with considerable first-hand experience and knowledge of destinations that Kuoni sells
- Proven track record of managing and motivating a customer facing team
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; able to juggle workloads and multi-task
- Leads by example and has the ability to inspire
- Ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and written
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success
- Experience of managing a team

Flexibility to work the hours necessary in line with the stores opening hours which may include evenings, public holidays, and weekends
Desirable: - Excellent working knowledge of all internal systems and current operational processes
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics

Good all round understanding of the sales and commercial aspects of tour operating, including scheduled flying.
