The Opportunity
Kama Ayurveda is the number one holistic beauty brand in India, launching in London in Summer 2023. Kama Ayurveda’s plant-based skincare and haircare products draw upon medicinal recipes of centuries-old Ayurvedic botanical oils, tonics and blends that are tested for efficacy by the latest science. We are looking for a Store Manager to join our team in a beautiful new location in Notting Hill. Our Store Managers are responsible for overseeing our spas and their staff, merchandise and customer service offer, achieving sales objectives and maintaining the highest operational and merchandizing standards. You’ll also build highly motivated teams, and coach and develop them to the next level.
What you´ll get to do
Profit and Sales Generation:
- Meet and exceed store sales goals, demonstrating sales leadership and motivating the team to achievement
- Analysing available sales reports and data to determine the needs of the business, setting business strategies
- Support the development of the Sales Assistants and Therapists skills
Customer Service:
- Ensure all team members provide the highest level of customer service, empowering your team to do the same
- Build and manage the client database, utilising to increase sales and customer contact
- Manage all special events inclusive of collection previews, client events, sale events and centre events, etc.
Operations:
- Ensure correct staffing levels
- Look after areas of risk management
- Deliver all relevant team member training, i.e., POS systems
- Conduct stock inventories as needed
- Understand and execute cash control procedures i
Merchandising/Visual:
- Implement merchandising directives and strategies
- Partner with operations, logistics & product teams to ensure the right assortment for the store
- Ensure the selling floor is always picture perfect and reflective of current visual direction
Human Resources:
- Working with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure all vacancies are filled in a timely manner with the right candidate
- Work with the Education team to deliver all training programs and initiatives to develop the Sales Assistants and Therapists
- Continually evaluate the performance of each team member and provide continual feedback
