Our client is a flagship coffee shop store, part of the international group, offering premium baked products in Central London. American/French style patisseries concept.

This is a very busy newly opened flagship store, which requires attention.

We are looking for energetic, hard working individual, with entrepreneurial mindset, who is prepared to roll up the sleeves and make this project a success. Massive opportunities will be available for the right candidate, as further massive expansion planned in the coming years.

About the role.

You will manage a team of front of house teams and baristas and work alongside bakery production manager and their team, to ensure smooth coffee shop operations.

Your aim is to increase sales and drive profitability, by managing store efficiently.

Key responsibilities of Store /General Manager:

  • Manage day to day operations of the Bakery Coffee Shop
  • Be a role model for your team when it comes to punctuality, performance, customer service, team work and efficient operations
  • Ensure exceptional condition of the store at all times
  • Maintenance of highest standard of Food Quality and Health & Safety
  • Stock monitoring and ordering
  • Ensure regular maintenance of equipment
  • Recruitment and training of new baristas and customer service teams
  • Team management and roster planning
  • Understanding of P&L, budgets planning and controlling

Key Requirements:

  • Previous similar experience in a busy coffee shop or/ bakery shop
  • Strong Barista Background
  • Ability to lead by example, provide excellent customer service and generate sales
  • Sound knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Organised and Great Team Leader
  • Experience in stock control/purchasing
  • Understanding of P&L and budgets
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and good with numbers
  • Ability to prioritise, delegate and with excellent people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Loads of energy, and desire to work hard toward long term goals, career development and business growth.
