The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity a Retail Manager to come and work for an amazing business who put the customer experience at the heart of everything that they do.
You will be responsible the shop floor (turning over £3million) and 50 plus staff (2 assistant manager and 4 supervisors).
The Responsibilities
· Smooth running of the shop retail areas
· Ensure the departments are proactively managed on a day to day basis.
· With the Shop Manager, create and implement all seasonal promotions, P.o.S, decorations etc.
· Liaise with supplier reps regarding stock requirements and displays
· Proactively research and develop new and unique displays and be aware of current trends
· Monitor and ensure all stock is maintained at optimum quality with no undue damage
· Lead, Support and train the team on all aspects of the role (customer service, H&S etc)
· Deal with all customers issues in a way that maintains the Company reputation
· Maintaining adequate staff cover and approving holiday accordingly
The ideal candidate needs
· Must have experience of Retail Management
· Passion for providing first class customer service.
· Proven track record of leading and motivating a team.
· Friendly and approachable demeanour
