A bit about us:
We save lives, be it the Emergency or Children’s Air Ambulance our Helicopters and our operations teams ensure we are with people in their upmost time of need. To keep our helicopters flying; our retail shops, fundraising teams and volunteers raise the much needed funds required.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £11.40 per hour

The opportunity:
Our shop managers are not standard retail managers, they are superheroes who face different challenges every moment of the day, its hard work and can be physically demanding, but we all work to the same purpose which is growing the service that we can offer. Our shops are the window to our charity, and are the first point of contact for many members of the public. Below are just some of the activities you will complete in your role with us:
- Managing every aspect of your shop: This will include using innovative techniques to increase stock generation, pricing, reviewing suitability of incoming donations and anything else required to ensure the day to day operational success of the shop.
- Leading your team: You will lead, inspire and engage with a multi-disciplined team of both paid employees and volunteers. Our people are the key to our success, you will grow them with us.
- Business Development: We think big, and we like our people to do the same. You will have targets to ensure we grow. You will play an active part in the community and engage with our Fundraising Coordinators so that we become everyone’s first choice when fundraising or donating
- Working in collaboration with other teams, such as our marketing, reuse and fundraising teams.
What you will bring:

Ideally you will have had some experience working in the retail or charity sector to give you an initial understanding of the sector we operate in.
