Assistant Shop Manager - Straiton.
Hiring now for our next Shop opening mid-2023. Training will be in one of our other (local) shops.

We will try to be as flexible as we can be & give contract hours that meet your needs.
You will be given various shifts - which will change week to week, and will include weekends - between 5:00am and 5pm - any 5 days from 7.
£11.45 plus an excellent benefits package (see below).

This is an opportunity to support a fast-paced retail operation, where you will be hands on, including food preparation, serving customers, cleaning our shop and any administrative tasks that may be required.

Your internal customers will be your colleagues, who will feel every moment with you is special and they will remember the positive impact that you have had with them every day.
Your external customers are our retail customers, who you will encourage to visit our shops through our quality products, great displays and you will aim to build positive relationships them.
What your key responsibilities are
· Ensure consistent excellent customer service within your shop.
· Assist the shop manager with all operational standards.
· Assist the shop manager in accurate scheduling of the shop.
· Assist all new starters so they are supported with their induction and training.
· Ensure compliance with food hygiene, legal diligence and health and safety, within your shop.
· Maintain excellent standards within the shop.
· Ensure compliance to company cash and security processes.
· Ensure the quality of our products is maintained throughout the day.
· Encourage the development of your team.
What your key skills and experiences are:
· Previous retail experience, particularly within the food to go industry.
· Confident and enthusiastic
· Experience of delivering on KPI`s and profitability.
· Experience of managing stock.
· Commercially driven.

Please note:
In this job role, you will be required to stand for long periods of time, carry out frequent lifting / manual handling (up to 16 kilos), bending, stretching, moving in a very busy environment at a fast pace & work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure.
