We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coffee and Shisha Lounge Manager to join our team at On The Corner. As the manager of our vibrant lounge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the coffee and shisha lounge, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints.
Train, supervise, and motivate a team of staff members, ensuring they deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the lounge.
Monitor and control inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
Plan and execute promotional activities, special events, and marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Monitor financial transactions, prepare reports, and manage the lounge's budget to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a coffee or shisha lounge environment.
Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, shisha preparation, and flavor combinations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and vendors effectively.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and make quick decisions under pressure.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS software, and basic accounting principles.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
