We are seeking an outstanding professional retail manager to join our team.
The is a true management position with total store involvement and as such the job reflects the Company ethos of devolved decision making and supporting individual skills and ideas. The role requires experience gained within a major food retailer or high profile convenience chain. You will report to the Operations Manager who will be directly responsible for your training and development.
About the Role
This is a high turnover store, providing customers with a full shopping solution. You will be working closely with our Operations Manager & the actual owners of the business. Which means you will have the ability to make a difference.
Salary up to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
The operational responsibilities are a given for such a high-profile store but will involve:
* Training and motivating staff
* Running the managerial team
* Maximising sales
* Meeting store targets
* Customer service is paramount, delivering a friendly & approachable attitude
Ideal Candidate
* Must have previous food retailing experience
* Have a passion for retailing
* Be customer focused
* Bring retailing skills to the group
* Flexible and adaptable in your approach with the ability to multi-task
* Flexible with hours and peak periods of work essential
* Post Office experience ideal but not essential
* Up to date CV required
