The Store Manager supports the Miniso retail business and reports to their Operations Manager; as Store Manager you are responsible for maintaining wage control and hitting exceptional sales while creating an environment for unassailable customer service, staff morale and operational brilliance. You own your development: assessing your performance, seeking feedback and resources and opportunities to improve and elevate your skills, knowledge and abilities
Responsibilities
- Actively drive sales with a customer-centric approach
- Sound practical knowledge of all retail operational activities required for effective management of the shop floor, including experience of visual merchandising
- Manage daily operations of the business and ensure sales goals are met
- Direct employees in daily operations such as serving customers, inventory taking, reconciling cash and managing in store marketing & visual merchandising
- Assigns duties to relevant employees
- Conduct hiring and onboarding of new employees
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and understanding of relevant legislation
- Track and manage inventory at store
