Function
As the Store Manager you are accountable to lead, train and inspire a team to deliver results and an excellent customer experience with energy and enthusiasm.
Your great training/coaching skills in line with the training tools provided by GANT will ensure your team deliver consistent gold service and expert product knowledge through GANT Academy to share with our customers.
Implement the VM brand standards in line with the ’Executing excellence pack’.
Through your personality and passion for GANT you will be able to demonstrate our behaviour guiding principles and create a never stop learning culture within your team and in store.
As part of the GANT Management team you will be accountable for the following;
- Lead the team to consistently deliver a gold experience to all our customers.
- Achieve KPI’s/targets in sales, expense and inventory management.
- Implement and lead the store service window daily.
- Act as a role model, to reinforce the ’GANT Customer Experience Expectations’ to the store team. Whilst reviewing performance during the service window you will train, coach and feedback in the moment.
- Hold weekly 1-2-1’s with all team members, reviewing KPI’s, service performance and behaviours. Ensuring individuals have a clear understanding of the Gant goals and objectives in line with the GANT training tools.
- Create and own your development plan with your Head of Retail.
- Ensure the visual presentation and merchandising of the Store is consistent with VM brand standards in line with the ’Executing excellence pack’.
- Observe and conform to all Retail Policies and Procedures as directed in the Retail Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Oversee physical store operations including maintenance to ensure the environment meets Health & Safety and company standards.
- Identify objectives and set priorities to meet short and long term goals, delegating responsibilities to the Store team where appropriate.
- Ensure store administration is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Communicate with the Head of Retail when key issues impact the performance of the store.
