We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to join our team in our brand new Morrisons Daily Franchise store in Canary Wharf, London. As the Store Manager you will need to be adaptable with a hands-on approach. You will be responsible for promoting excellent customer service, high standards of store presentation and the daily management of a retail convenience store. You will lead by example, support, and motivate your team to success, promote sales and lead the financial performance of the store. You will be managing a team of 12+ colleagues and will guide and develop their knowledge and skills by working collaboratively with them. You will need to be able to produce business plans which feed into the Companies KPI's and look for ways to continuously develop and enhance the stores performance from both a customer and commercial perspective.

Key responsibilities
- Managing instore facilities to ensure brand standards are delivered consistently.
- Meet and exceed KPI targets, manage costs including wages, waste, and cash shortages.
- Guide the team to ensure all daily stock management routines are followed to maximise the availability across all areas of the store.
- Ensure colleagues are coached to ensure customers are served quickly, professionally with excellent customer service.
- Recruit and manage the performance of your team ensuring the correct level of training for their respective role.
- Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines.
- Maxising sales by ensuring product availability across the store, managing merchandising and in-store promotions.
- Implementing company policies, procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner to cover all aspects of food safety.
- Managing the store and ensuring high standards are met every day.
- To oversee the instore bakery / kitchen food preparation and the cooking of bake-off products
- To manage the retail sale of age-related products and ensure the Think 25 policy is applied on every sale.
This role requires someone who is customer focussed and strives to achieve excellence on a daily basis, you will need to be resilient and target driven in this face paced store. Reporting to the Head of Retail there will also be the opportunity for growth within the Company in the form of a Multi Site Manager.
