CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Announcer to support the 24/7 Formats. The Part-Time Announcer is an integral part of the programming team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of on-air local and/or network radio experience and be able to fully produce a 5-hour on-air show.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce a compelling radio show by using creativity, imagination and exercise of independent professional judgment in writing, producing, interviewing, taping or broadcasting on-air content
• Read live commercial copy on air
• Commercial Production (PDQ) voice
• Plays music as specified by music director and music log

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of on-air local and/or network radio experience.
• Have experience with audio mixers, voice track programs, and a computer and the internet.
• Be able to research, gather and organize entertaining, timely, and topical show prep content.
• Must have a relatable, likable, and fun personality.
• Be able to execute and record all the elements necessary to produce a 5-hour show.
• Be able to work weekends and have the flexibility to work some weekday hours.
