We are looking for an experienced Barista Coffee Shop/Cafe Shop Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

The job will be 5 whole day shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the barista team and ensure that beverages are prepared to the highest standards
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Develop and implement new beverage recipes
  • Train new baristas
  • Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Ensure our products are served to a high standard and hygene policies adhered to.
  • Together with the team, prep sandwiches, baguettes and our other food offerings.
  • Ensure that all staff are properly trained and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock is adequately replenished.
  • Monitor the shop's financial performance and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a barista
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Food safety certification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
