Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet revenue targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor market trends and adjust store strategies accordingly
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory counts
Fuel Management:
- Monitor fuel levels in storage tanks and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with suppliers to place orders for fuel replenishment as needed.
- Implement and maintain proper fuel storage and handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of fuel dispensing equipment and storage facilities.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to fuel transportation, storage, and handling.
- Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Conduct regular safety training and drills for fuel station staff, emphasizing best practices in fuel management.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, inventory levels, and consumption.
- Prepare reports on fuel usage, inventory status, and any incidents related to fuel management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic math skills for inventory management purposes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and best practices
