Role Responsibility

As the Store Commercial & Operations Manager, you and your team will play a key role in enabling and facilitating an extraordinary experience for our customers by supporting the effective day to day running of the Division you are a part of.

You will support the Divisional Manager to achieve commercial targets and to maximise commercial success by providing insight, evidence and solutions to facilitate opportunities and minimise risk. You will be instrumental in driving excellence in back of house standards and tasks that will ultimately enable the Department Managers across the Division to reach key performance metrics and sales plans.

As a Store Commercial & Operations Manager you will:

Support the Divisional Manger with the day to day running of the Division - ensuring our team, spaces, product and experiences are always in line with desired standards

Strengthen and develop operational efficiencies across the Division (stock, payroll, operations), collaborating with the Divisional Manager on a unified approach across both front and back of house

Support the Divisional Manger to deliver the loss prevention plan, initiating and delivering appropriate action on stock related losses, markdown, wastage and any other stock related impacts with the ultimate goal of increasing stock accuracy within the division.

Ensure that the Division is fully compliant at all times with trading standards legislation, health & safety legislation and security processes

Support the Divisional Manager to achieve commercial targets and to maximise our commercial success, providing insight, evidence and solutions to facilitate opportunities and minimise risk

Partner with the Divisional Manager and Department Managers to plan effectively for key trading events (e.g. sale, preview, promotions, new season and calendar events) facilitating operational excellence and maximising the commercial opportunity

Support the Divisional Manager with Property and Design Projects, partnering with key stakeholders to implement and deliver our new spaces, sites and experiences for our customers

Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Department Managers across the division, enabling collaboration by supporting and influencing their decision making where relevant

Collaborative. Working with key stakeholders to simplify ways of working, influencing where necessary to drive change

Great at influencing and negotiating, whilst building professional, lasting relationships at all levels. Adapting your approach depending on your message and audience

A strong leader. Passionate about coaching and developing your team and creating opportunities for growth and succession

An expert in retail, passionate about using your knowledge to create the extraordinary both front and back of house
