As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product inquiries, and ensuring that our store is always clean and organised. You will also be responsible for operating the cash register and handling financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanour, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should also be comfortable with basic math and be able to multitask effectively.

Store Assistant Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting customers offering excellent customer service.
- Ensure all customers have the best shopping experience.
- Increase customer retention by delivering consistently high levels of customer service.
- Assist the manager and wider team in the day-to-day running of the store.
- Dealing with customer enquiries and customer complaints and, where appropriate, pass on more complex enquiries to the shop manager or deputy manager.
- Process all customer transactions using our point-of-sale software.
