Do you have a passion for delivering high quality services to the public, an understanding of people management, a creative approach to service delivery and are you tech savvy?
Tadcaster Library is a community library and as a Library Supervisor you will be supporting the management group to deliver high quality customer-focused library services, which meet county service priorities whilst recognising local community needs.
You will advise and support volunteers in the day to day delivery of services including stock management, IT services, customer enquiries and developing an exciting programme of events and activities.
You will be experienced in providing services to the public and a good communicator and problem solver, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong links with the community and develop positive relationships with volunteers and partners.
You will need to be flexible with your working hours, working 7hpw split across 2 shifts, working at other locations as appropriate and be available for weekends and evenings.
Literacy, numeracy and IT skills including a knowledge of IT applications equivalent to level 2 are essential.
