About the role…
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Stock & Systems Team Manager at our site in Lichfield. Reporting to the Stock & Systems Manager, this role will appeal to a self-motivated, flexible and committed individuals that is looking to improve or establish themselves within the logistics industry.
Shift Pattern:
Rotating Day shift –
06:00am -14:00pm/ 14:00pm – 22:00
What you’ll be doing…
• Identifying trends adversely affecting the control of stock and its impact on our Customer's focus values.
• Creating appropriate solutions and recommendations to overcome these issues.
• Completing control checks within all areas of the Distribution Centre to verify operational performance and to identify / minimise risk areas of the business.
• Providing the Site management team with support, solutions, and individual training where required.
• Preparing, conducting and resolving variance investigations of Stock Counts / Uplifts, including; validating count data submitted for verification and providing / liaising with Customer audit departments.
• Dealing directly with the customer to substantiate and resolve stockholding, documentation and supplier payment issues.
• Compiling and circulating weekly and period reports detailing results and audits conducted.
• Meeting and exceeding operational KPI’s.
• Motivating and leading a team of Stock Clerks .
About you…
• Have previous experience in a distribution warehouse environment.
• PC literate with high standard of Word, Excel and Access.
• Have knowledge of Distribution systems, e.g ; Matflo
• Have a high standard of communication oral, written and presentational skills essential.
• Have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritise their own workload, and adhere to specified deadlines.
• Have excellent team building, leadership and motivational skills.
