We have a fantastic opportunity for an Inventory (Stock Accuracy) Assistant based at our Cardiff store on a permanent basis working 30 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity, and you'll be joining a great team!
WHAT WE OFFER

- 30-hour contract working 5 days over 7, which would include weekend work.
- Ordinary shift times will be between 06:00am and 12:00pm, however, ad hoc working times outside of these may be required to meet business needs.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, a love of problem-solving, and a high level of numeracy and attention to detail to ensure stock accuracy.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a role focused on inventory and stock management, and a knowledge of IKEA systems (which you will get the chance to learn in this role!). The ideal candidate will be will be flexible and adaptable in your approach, and driven by the IKEA values.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- You will be responsible for physical stock taking by carrying out actual physical stock counting in the correct way, registering counted quantities and analysing stock-taking results.
- You will set a definite time frame for completion of the stock-taking.
- You will take responsibility for teamwork and support your colleagues, and communicate effectively within your team.
- You will take an active part in the development of operational processes, as well as collecting and filing operational data.
