About the job
Your main job role will include Processing goods-in paperwork, Inventory management and Accurately checking delivery notes booked-in match with the GRPOs using SAP, Maintain and report accurate stock counts of fresh, frozen and ambient through regular cycle counts in the warehouse and or shop floor. Investigate discrepancies within hours. . Be flexible to alter shifts where applicable and attend weekend stock counts if required. Assisting with other general warehouse tasks when required.
This is a fast paced working environment and you will need to learn the product range to be productive in picking the goods.
Additional duties include:
- To ensure all stock controls measures are followed and are up to date.
- Updating system with findings after stock investigations and identify root cause of stock errors.
- Reporting shortages, damages, and incorrect stock and amending the system.
- Report on and investigate stock adjustments to minimise risk.
- Communicate with relevant departments and Store managers.
- Cleanliness, layout and presentation of the warehouse, freezers and Shop floor
- Ensuring labeling and putting away of all stock received into locations is accurate.
- Carrying out PI’s.
- Dealing with stock queries Internal and external within the company.
- Dealing with outside storage to arrange collection and return of stock.
- Undertaking any other tasks as deemed appropriate that may be initiated by a member of the management team.
- Continuous personal development and gain knowledge of all aspects of the business.
- Assisting customers with queries.
- Keeping the shop floor and warehouse areas clean and tidy.
- Ensuring stock availability after low stock / no stock checks in the shop floor and warehouse ambient and freezers.
- Ensuring all chill chain and frozen food temperature regulations are followed.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
- Cover other areas of the business as required (following any further training needed).

You will need to:
- have a drive to get things done quickly and efficiently
- Computer literate
- Experience within any stock & inventory/ warehouse management based roles
- want to learn new skills
- be happy working across departments
- have an outgoing personality
- be happy to be flexible in your working shifts and patterns as required by the business, including working weekends.
- be looking for continuous work for at least 12 months

- FLT Drivers must have accredited licenses if you have one.
