As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of folding cartons, unbleached paperboard, coated recycled board, microwave packaging and machinery, we continue to set new standards for our industry. Job Purpose
The purpose of the Stock Controller is to ensure that the stock records reflect actual physical stocks and are maintained in a timely manner
Specific Responsibilities
· Check daily issues from print and sheeter machines
· Update the sheeter schedule in an accurate and timely manner
· Transfer reels between warehouses on a daily basis
· Check Portbury/Hawarden stock and reconcile on a weekly basis if necessary
· Ensure stock control and materials module concur with the PECAS system
· Carry out month end stocktake of Reels & Sheets
· Complete stock schedules at the end of each calendar month
· Prepare and reconcile stock and stock creditor accounts at the end of each month
· Prepare & Post all stock Journals for the end of the month
· Entering US GPI reels at Sea
· Enter details of UK GPI reels received at Bristol
· Receiving outside board and label
· Check all raw materials invoices
· Raise invoices for board sold
· Yearly stock take at Bristol Port and the main UK factory of reels and sheets
· Provide cover within department as and when required.
Technical Skills
· Excellent attention to detail

· Able to work on own initiative
· Comfortable in a Manufacturing environment
· Ability to work alone and in a team environment
· Good level of standard education required
· Comfortable with using Microsoft Computer Packages, including Word and Excel

· Excellent communication skills essential, ability to give clear written and verbal instructions, clearly understand and explain technical and commercial issues to customers and have a good understanding of procedures and processes.
