We are looking for an experienced Stock Control Specialist to join our fantastic team in our Killingworth Distribution Centre!
About the role
Our Stock Control Specialists are responsible for maintaining stock levels between the store and distribution centres. As a Stock Control Specialist, you will deep dive into stock variances and be a key player in stock takes and cycle counts. You will work closely with the store teams to mitigate loss by coaching and developing colleagues to adhere to store processes and work astutely and accurately.

Responsibilities Included:
- Co-ordination of stock taking from end to end.
- To lead on stock take investigations on any variances, actions and corrections.
- Management of customer debits, ensuring stock write on and offs are managed between Store and Buying Teams.
- Monitoring and maintaining dump barcodes, liaising with Retail Teams to correct and provide a resolution.
- Monitor stock movement flows (e.g. Customer deliveries) and ensure an accurate recording.

- A Proven track record of working in Stock Control/Logistics within a similar business - essential
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, even if indirectly
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of how a retail store operates
- IT literate and comfortable with using various systems
- An analytical approach with an attention for detail
